In the resource recycling division, Green City Solution develops technologies to recover and reuse by-products generated during the manufacturing of analytical instruments and absorbents.
We are establishing a closed-loop system that recovers platinum from TOC analyzer catalysts and copper from halogen scrubbers, enabling these valuable metals to be reused as consumable materials.
Additionally, spent coffee grounds are upcycled as a raw material for the production of activated carbon, which serves as a core component in CO₂ absorbents for air quality management.
During this process, coffee oil extracted from coffee grounds is also being explored for applications in cosmetics, fragrances, and advanced functional materials, expanding the potential for sustainable resource utilization.
